Courtney Riley is VHB’s Northeast Land Development Service Leader, overseeing site development and civil design projects across Long Island, New York City and New Jersey. She brings extensive experience in healthcare, institutional, retail, and residential projects, helping clients create functional, sustainable, and community-focused environments. Her work includes major hospital expansions, ambulatory care facilities, and mixed-use developments, integrating civil engineering, permitting, and sustainable design to support patient-centered care and operational efficiency.
A U.S. Navy Lieutenant veteran, Courtney combines her military leadership experience with more than 20 years in design and construction, giving her a unique perspective on managing complex projects and teams. She is also an instructor for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program, mentoring future professionals and advocating for environmentally responsible development. Courtney’s portfolio demonstrates her commitment to building healthier communities through thoughtful design, careful planning, and collaboration with healthcare providers, municipalities, and local stakeholders.
